I kept rebuilding it instead.

Wrong colors. Wrong atmosphere. Everything looked too clean. Too awake.

Some nights the apartment felt easier to organize than the archive did.

There were also technical problems. And non-technical problems. The non-technical ones lasted longer.

The signal is here now. Mostly.
